description Sofía Belén Jáquez is a Bay Area and Los Angeles Based multi-genre singer, poet and composer with a focus on Classical, Hispanic cultural and Experimental music. She is also a published Ethnomusicologist with a focus on pre-colonial Nahua Music therapy practices and the connection of Mexican Son with Spanish Baroque music. In practice, she participates in classical singing competitions and festivals like The Classical Singers Competition (2021,2022) and The Barcelona Festival of Song (2025). She is one of the founding members of the experimental vocal trio, Bruxeria where she composes and performs experimental vocal music. She is also the Vocalist for a Cuban Music Ensemble The Santa Clarita Social Club with whom she performs with at various events and cultural festivals throughout Los Angeles. ### Paul Yorke is a percussionist, composer, and sound designer, with a passion for blurring the lines between music and sound design. His compositions are deeply rooted in rhythmic textures, where percussive elements are sculpted to create immersive soundscapes. Likewise, his sound design work incorporates musicality, using unconventional techniques to build dynamic, emotionally resonant environments. Whether making music or creating atmospheres, he aims to create a seamless fusion of musical expression and auditory innovation.
